[ WELCOME TO SOCIOLOGY ]

Welcome to the Sociology transition site at OSFC. This site will help you with some of the topics in GCSE Sociology and give you an idea of what studying AS Sociology is all about.

Sociology is the study of society. Click on one of the buildings [above] to see the many different areas of society sociologists are interested in. Many of these are studied at GCSE level and some at AS level.

We will also be looking at how sociologists study these different areas of society. To do this we will talk about research methods.
