1. For practice of key vocabulary you should choose Bof! - gradually working through the exercises under the more advanced topic areas such as The World Around Us, The World of Work and The International World in order to practise some of the key vocabulary necessary. Write down any words that you did not know and revise them at home.
2. An excellent way of building up your listening skills is by selecting - French videos - which contains 16 clips covering all GCSE areas of experience, backed up by transcripts and comprehension tests. Focus on some of the more advanced topics as mentioned above.
3. You can now carry out some further listening practice at the same time as following the experiences of one of our former students by choosing Sarah’s Video Presentation.
4. For further listening practice and activities based on topics that you should be familiar with you should select Que veulent les jeunes ? -
5. We now recommend that you take a look at the intermediate activities and then the higher sections on Exam Revision Control Centre - which is an extensive exam revision program for all levels. The past papers are from the EDEXCEL exam board, but provide useful practice material for all students.
6. To finish off this unit you should complete some further reading and writing activities by selecting BBC Bitesize Site - and Reading activities: higher, starting with the revision exercises and then moving on to the test section. You could then complete some writing exercises from the same site.
