Premiere Film and Cinema Magazine -
An online French version of the film and cinema magazine, this site provides a valuable way of introducing students to contemporary and colloquial French. Exploring this site is an excellent way for pupils to expand their vocabulary and understanding of the language.

French Prime Minister's Website -
This is not the French leader's personal website but a very useful place to find out about France and the structure of its government. The election of the Prime Minister and President are covered, as is the significance of the Tricolor and the history of the European Union. The site is available in French, German and Spanish as well as English, so it would be very useful for language practice.

BBC Education - Leisure French Online -
These lessons are for intermediate level learners interested in the language and culture of France and are based on the original BBC radio series 'Leisure French'. Shockwave activities are based on a RealAudio clip or transcript and there are glossaries of new words and background information. The themes covered are a guided tour of Arras, cinema, wine and hiking.
