Algebra Unit A4: Fractions

Fractions are very important in Maths and everyday life. Whenever we need to separate out things into many parts or do any serious algebra, we will need to use fractions.

Fractions have very strong links with ratios, proportion, percentages, and decimals. You need to know that the top of the fraction is called the numerator and the bottom of the fraction is called the denominator.
