School kids: who
needs them?
Local residents
speak out…
|
Young people should treat the older generation
with respect, not with derision.
WHEN
I WAS THEIR AGE… |
| Every
day I want to go about my business I am flawed by obstacles. I only want to go and buy a few things at the shops and everywhere
I go my way is blocked by school kids! |
When I was their age I was doing a full day`s work and knew
what hard work really was. Teenagers at school today have an
easy option, doing fanciful subjects rather than learning trades.
They don`t find their minds challenged or really know what
it is to work really hard at something. I wonder if they even
get any homework. It seems that they don`t as they always seem
to be hanging around the shopping centre.
WHAT DO THEY GIVE BACK?
Today`s schoolchildren give little back to the community but take whatever
is on offer. I think it`s time they thought about their current position
and did something about it.
Keeping out of my way would be a start!

BLOCKING THE WAY
They are there, littering up the pavement, blocking the entrance
to shops, making the queues longer when you get in. Every
day during the lunch hour it is the same. Why can`t they
stay on their school premises and leave the town to the local
residents who want to do their shopping?
Some of their language and behaviour is appalling. When
you make a simple request of them, to move out of your
way you are dealt a string of insults and made in some
cases to feel intimidated and scared!
