Welcome to Biology

Lab Image

So you are going to study Biology either at AS or A level !!! This site hopefully, will help you. Your success depends on your own natural ability, but above all, on hard work and motivation!!!!!!!

To take Biology at AS/A level, you will need at least grade C at GCSE in Double Science or in Biology. We also prefer you to have GCSE grade C and above in Maths and English. Believe it or not, A level Biology is quite numerical and does involve statistics. - so some mathematical ability is essential. You also need to communicate biological principles clearly - so you need the ability to write.

Look through the topics sections. We have included revision guides for GCSE work. There are also many web links for AS/A level, but best of all, we have our own study guides and quizzes that will help you settle into OSFC. Good luck.
